Update on Issue One!

the SCOURGE Magazine logoTwo excellent new pieces up - a short story and a review of a classic piece of non-fiction courtesy of George Terry and Richard Meads respectively. Check them out in the Prose and Misc sections!

I can also confirm that Issue One of SCOURGE Magazine is complete, and is rolling off the presses as we speak. With a little luck, the print edition should be ready for distribution today or tomorrow.

Seventeen articles from thirteen contributors made it into SCOURGE's first print edition - copies have been reserved for these individuals and once I take delivery of the issue I will be contacting them to arrange how they would like to collect them. Any other contributor who would like a copy of the print edition, please contact me and something can be arranged. Apologies to anyone who hoped to get into print but had to be left out of this issue: with so many high-quality submissions a decision obviously had to be made to cram as much content into our limited space as possible. The final product stands at a huge 38 pages, so hopefully everyone appreciates the difficulty we had deciding what to include.

Copies will be distributed at Bath Spa's campuses at Newton Park and Sion Hill, as well as at Bath University and at Mr. B's Emporium of Reading Delights on John St. in Bath. Alternatively, you can read Issue One as it went to print right here, in this flash edition hosted by Issuu.com. Click on the magazine to view it fullscreen: or you can view a larger version on our dedicated page here.

Thanks for everyone who helped in putting this thing together - we couldn't have done it without you. No further deadlines will be set at present, though we'll continue to accept submissions of all types for publication on this site.
